Terms & Conditions – SL CAR RENT

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before making any reservations.

By checking the box before placing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agreed to all the terms and conditions outlined below. Proceeding with a booking means you are legally bound by them. Statements such as "I did not read the terms and conditions" or "I did not understand them" will not be accepted as valid excuses for non-compliance.

1. Basic Requirements

Hirer must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's licence for at least 1 year.

A security deposit of AUD 700 in cash or credit card pre-authorisation is required.

2. Rates and Payment

Rates are based on a 24-hour hire period. Minimum hire period is 3 days.

Full payment is due upon vehicle collection.

3. Fuel Policy

Vehicle is provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.

Additional charges apply for insufficient fuel upon return.

4. Insurance

All rates include basic insurance (CDW) with an excess.

Additional insurance cover is available at extra cost.

5. Cancellation

Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before hire start time.

Cancellation after this period will incur a charge of 1 hire day.

6. Kilometre Limit

Standard daily limit is 100km. Additional kilometres are charged separately.

7. Accidents and Emergencies

8. Liability

Hirer is fully responsible for any traffic infringement notices during the hire period.

Important: Driving under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Breach of this rule will result in immediate termination of the hire agreement without refund.

5. Overseas Disclosure
